| VernDecor Interiors is a Toronto based Interior Decorating and Soft Furnishings Fabricating Business, providing sewing and decorating services for your complete home decor. It is operated by Valrine, Interior Decorator and Sewing Specialist. Valrine Vernon's Designs refers to my hand-crafted home decor accessories. Designing and decorating unique comfortable spaces and Affordable Soft Furnishings that says just what my clients want to express is my business. Although I have a natural flair for design, I have also received formal training as a Certified Interior Decorator. I have a teaching background and use the listening and communication skills that I have acquired in the teaching profession to enhance the relationship between my clients/customers and I. My interest in sewing started from my youth, while watching my dear mom turning pieces of fabric into great clothing. I would help her pedal her old sewing machine, thread the needle and just be there. I can remember the textures and colours of all those fabrics. Since then I switched to sewing home decor accessories, which is my passion. I love to hand-craft unique accessories and share them with everyone. My the focus is on FOUR RS RE-PURPOSE, RE-CYCLE, REUSE AND REDUCE I am keen on being green. Therefore, I have designed a line of green home accessories, VV GDL (Valrine Vernon's Green Design Line). All my green accessories are made from fabric samples and fabric ends, which would otherwise go to the landfill. You can buy VV GDL products locally or online. I will also use your leftover or vintage fabrics to create personal pieces for you; pillows, window treatments, floor coverings, wall art........
